My Everyday Makeup tutorial



It’s about time that I did another blog post! This time it is about my current everyday makeup routine for school! Oh well, better late than never! Here’s a rundown of my current everyday makeup routine:

Foundation: I don't like wearing foundation when I'm at school because I don't want any heavy makeup on my face.

Concealer: Let me start off by saying I have DARK CIRCLES, I mean it, they're DARK. It's insane. I use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser neutralizer to offset the darkness around my eyes. And let me just say, it is amazing! Then I would use my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in the shade medium 25. I honestly love this concealer! It looks so good on after blending.


Powder: I don't buy high end makeup product often, in fact, I buy drugstore products. However, the powder that I use is from the Dollar Tree. It is the L.A. Colors powder in Beige. I know, it's $1, but the quality of this powder is just that good to pass up.


Blush: I LOVE WEARING BLUSH! The blush I'm currently wearing non-stop is the brand Jafra in blushing rose! If I am feeling pale and need a pop of color on my cheeks, I go for this blush.


 Bronzer: Don’t be afraid to apply with a heavier hand to build up the darkness of this powder bronzer. I use the NYC Sun n' Bronze Bronzing Powder in Fire Island Tan, thanks to Missglamorazzi and Casey Holmes suggestion on YouTube.

Mascara: I have been using the Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara everyday. I love the quality of it and how natural it looks on. I build up the coat to make my eyes look awake and bigger.

Eyeliner: One word, Elf.









Brows: Seriously in love with the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow Pencil in soft brown. So natural. So easy. Perfect.

Eyeshadow: L.A. Colors Eyeshadow Palette in Traditional. Neutral is my thing, and this palette is my thing.

Lip: Not a lipstick person, but I love putting chapstick on that match my natural lip color.

Yes, it's true. I met an Orange Is The New Black cast member, Diane Guerrero on April 11, 2017. And yes, I did just write the exact date. I was fangirling when I saw her. No joke. Well here's what happened. I just finished my last class and I was heading to my car to put my stuff away before going into the building where the event was held. After putting my things away, I walked towards the building in the exact moment right when Diane's driver drove up. She walked out, security people around her, and walked right in the building. ICNA 2017

Hi everyone! Finally I have time to blog my experience at ICNA 2017! I've been so busy with school and exams that I haven't had time. It's currently 12:56am as I am writing this on April 23rd. So ICNA 2017 was so much fun and informative! It lasted 3 days, 2 being the whole day and the last day being a half day. It ran from April 14-16 at the Baltimore Convention Center. When we arrived, it seemed like there wasn't a lot of people, but once it was time to pray, eat and walk the bazaar, everyone came out. So the first day, my family and I attended the main session held at the Main Hall. We heard so many speakers speak to the audience, like Sh. Omar Suleiman, Dr. Dalia F. Fahmy, Linda Sarsour, comedian Jeremy McLennan, Yasir Qadhi, and many more. And I met up with my cousin and her parents and anyone else we knew from the community.
